Most people wouldn't think that having just had prostate cancer surgery is the best time in their lives. However, I found myself basking in the goodness of God that day. He has been so faithful to Tex and me. He has blessed so far beyond anything that we deserve. It's simply amazing to think of His goodness.

Our daughter, Renee, is expecting her first child at the first of September. Our son, Dave, has just returned from a fruitful ministry in Romania. Both have wonderful spouses. Our three grandchildren are healthy and great kids. God continues to bless our ministry. People around the world who have come to Christ through our ministry are growing in Him. Many of them have mobilized Christians to pray for us during this time. We have so many friends who have stood with us.

Do I need to go on? You can see how blessed we are. That's not just a positive statement. It's reality. I believe that the Lord wants to do some incredible things in the days ahead. I am looking forward to those days with a great sense of eagerness.

Many of you have expressed that you are praying for us. Thanks for standing with us and for being friends. You are a part of the blessing that God has given.
