It has been two weeks since the surgery to treat my prostate cancer. The surgery went well, and the doctor thinks that the cancer was contained within the prostate. That's very good news because the prostate was completely taken out, which means that the cancer is more than likely gone. However, I will need to have quarterly check ups to confirm that the cancer is no longer there.

The recovery period has also been good thus far. I've had virtually no pain and there have been no complications. I am regaining many of the bodily functions that can be affected by this type of surgery. I can only say, "Praise the Lord for His goodness and grace during these days."

God has also been faithful in His leadership of our ministry. Since I have been in this recovery period, I have preached to many thousands of people in Iran through our television broadcast. I've also shared daily the victorious Christian life with thousands of Romanians through our radio broadcast in the nation. I've also launched a television broadcast in Haiti that is being aired weekly giving hope to a people who are extremely needy.

Additionally, my writings, audio messages, and video teachings have ministered to more than 1,000 people every day via the internet. Many of those visiting our website are coming from China, Singapore, Brazil, Iran, England, Russia, India, Malaysia, Turkey, Peru, and numerous other nations. All of this has taken place while I've been drinking from the "streams of water."

Many people have asked me about the future of our ministry. The question always arises about who will take the leadership reigns of STM after I'm no longer able to minister. My heart has been that I simply want God to raise up that person. I believe that God's kingdom is not built upon Sammy Tippit Ministries, but upon people whose lives are fully surrendered to Him. He will raise up that person or those people in His time.

However, it has been a blessing to see God bring that to pass. I know about 15 churches that have developed ministries in Brazil as a result of traveling with me. Pastor Truman Herring of Boca Raton, Florida called a couple of days ago telling me that he was bringing a team to Brazil. He said that his vision for the world came as a result of traveling with me to Brazil. I also know of a number of evangelists who are reaching the world for Christ because of traveling with me to other nations.

One of the great blessings during these days is to see what God is doing with Dave Tippit. He just concluded his discipleship school in India. God used it mightily in the lives of those young people. Right now, he is in Romania doing the same thing. It appears that God is using the discipleship school in a marvelous way to impact this generation for Christ.
